The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining plant wide inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts, maintaining accurate cycle count records, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies. The coordinator is responsible for efficient and effective execution of the cycle count schedule, including conducting and auditing counts, approving/rejecting counts and resolution of discrepancies. The coordinator will be responsible to assist in identifying root cause and countermeasures for Substantial variances (qty. or value).
Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials in accordance with daily and weekly cycle count schedule.
Identifies and reports discrepancies of over/under quantities as well as damaged products to supervisor
Conducts 5 Why investigation on inventory discrepancies
Recommends and develops process enhancements as needed.
Assists with weekly/monthly Key Performance Metric tracking, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for variances.
Maintains accurate record of daily cycle counts performed
Maintains accurate inventory locations and perform material transfers if required.
Data Entry into ERP system.
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Work a minimum of two years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Have a thorough understanding of inventory control principals.
Skills and Competencies
