IMI Precision Engineering Master Scheduler in Auburn, Washington
In the role of Master Scheduler you will be responsible for working across the organization to maintain and update customer forecasts, set planning and issue schedules in a manner that ensures that shipments to our customers are made on-time while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. These objectives are met through scheduling and planning parts and/or products in a timely and efficient manner. This position is based in our Auburn, Washington facility.

Reviews and analyzes information within various modules (MRP, cycle counts, customer portals, exception reports), plans, firms and releases work orders to Manufacturing in support of these requirements.
Coordinates, prioritizes, schedules, and adjusts work orders throughout the production cycle to meet internal and external requirements.
Responsible for OTD & metric achievement, expediting, tracking & reporting.
Evaluates MRP system data; validates accuracy of production orders.
Evaluate customer forecast and enter information into MRP System.
Maintain accuracy of document(s) by reviewing for changes and updating traveler.
Verifies that availability of material(s) and Manufacturing lead time(s), are accurate and will meet customer requirements.
Works across the organization to lead S&OP initiatives to goal attainment
Acts as a team player by supporting and contributing others positively to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives. Resolves grievances utilizing appropriate channels and in a professional manner.
Flexible with work hours and available to work off shift if required.
Prepare, develop, coordinate, and integrate all levels of project plans and schedules.
Integrate and partner with and across technical disciplines (Purchasing, Project Management, Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering) to ensure plans and schedules accurately and comprehensively are executed and achieved.
Establish an integrated schedule, manage schedule status, perform critical path analysis and, perform schedule analysis; communicate to management and customer.
Work with business operations to support development of common tools, processes and training related to schedule development, integration, analysis and maintenance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to establish and sustain a Lean culture.
Performs additional duties are requested or required as necessary to obtain Company goals and objectives.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field or 10+ years of related work experience in a Production Control/Planning environment using an integrated MRP system.
5+ years using MRP systems (Epicor-Vantage preferred)
5+ years of related experience in planning
Skills and Competencies
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills also required. Manufacturing background a plus.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deal with competing priorities.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures as they relate to material flow.
Able to read and follow complex written instructions.
High level of analytical ability where problems are complex.
Computers and Technology
Proficient with MS Office Suite, advanced level Excel skills
