IMI Precision Engineering Senior Human Resources Business Partner in Auburn, Washington

Overview

Summary:

The Sr. HR Business Partner will be the resource liaison and leader to ensure HR issues and needs are being properly addressed across all sites within the Company. This strategic HR position supports the business and drives the implementation and administration of HR processes and initiatives across the businesswhile promoting the company culture.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadershipto develop and deliver effective HR strategies, plans and processes to support the achievement of the vertical’s business priorities and objectives

  • Partner with company stakeholders to implement and support regional, divisional and corporate HR initiatives

  • Ensure the execution of HR programs/processes in the areas of performance management, talent acquisition, talent management, training and development, total rewards, employment practices and employee engagement

  • Consult with site HR team and leadership to determine HR needs and provide support

  • Evaluate current HR practices and make recommendations for best in class solutions

  • Identify appropriate learning and development solutions for individuals, teams, and organizations

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment. Maintains minimal Company exposure to lawsuits

  • Conduct thorough, objective investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth

  • Monitors and provides coaching on the implementation of performance improvement plans for non-performing employees

  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 20% of time)

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management

  • 7+ years of international and multi-site HR experience required

  • 3+ years of experience in a dedicated Compensation, Benefits, Organizational Development, Employee Relations or Talent Acquisition role is required

  • Recognized as a team player. Demonstrated team leadership skills along with strong collaboration skills

  • Strong people skills and communication skills. Must have experience in interacting with many different types of personalities in different levels of the organization.

  • Results-oriented; ability to prioritize rapidly; strong problem solving skills; strong analysis/decision-making skills; and ability to manage multiple projects across various organizations

  • High level of integrity and the demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner

  • GPHR, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required
