IMI Precision Engineering LOU Material Handler in Kentucky, United States
Reports To: Distribution Center Manager
Location: Louisville, KY
The Louisveille, KY Material Handler performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of products within the facility under general supervision.

Knowledge of warehouse safety practices
Picking, packing, shipping of sales orders
Labeling product as in accordance with company or customer guidelines
Product receipts and put-away
Inspection of Return Good Authorizations (RGA)
Packing / unpacking of all inbound / outbound shipments
Ability to perform essential job duties and responsibilities at our DC facility and complies with all Norgren conduct rules, attendance, accuracy, dress code, etc.
Education / Experience
High school diploma or GED
Forklift and other material handling equipment certification required
1 to 3 years of general warehouse experience
Ability to continually lift upwards of 50 pounds
Possess good mathematical, reading and communication skills
Ability to stand continuously and/or walk for 8-10 hours per day
Experience with JDE or other ERP application is a plus
UPS, FedEx and LTL experience (bill of lading)
Background Preferred (Not required):
Experience with JDE
Familiarity with quality controls & inspection procedures
Familiarity ISO operating procedures
Familiarity 5S Organization Methodology
Familiarity Transportation / supply-chain software
Familiarity Customs and trade import requirements and compliance procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
Certificates and Licenses
- Forklift and material handling equipment certification required
