IMI Precision Engineering Desktop Publisher II in Littleton, Colorado

Overview

The Desktop Publisher II will be supporting the marketing communications objectives using internal and external resources: development of electronic, printed, photographic and video materials to support IMI Precision Engineering internal and external marketing communications. Assist in management of IMI Precision Engineering corporate image from a US perspective and work with Precision Engineering global team to do the same. Work closely with key staff, managers, and other cross-functional groups, departments and companies to accomplish program and project objectives.

Responsibilities

  1. Development, update, verification, and release of marketing collateral for IMI Precision Engineering including but not limited to: product catalogs, handbooks, white papers, case studies, brochures, flyers, tradeshow booth layout and signage, promotional invitations, price book updates, photography, video, internal and external electronic notices.

  2. Understand, adhere to and enforce branding guidelines; developing a collaborative relationship with Global marketing is a MUST to maintain corporate image.

  3. Field questions and requests regarding corporate marketing guidelines and visual standards; provide approved tools.

  4. Maintain, archive, and prepare for ready retrieval all related intellectual property.

  5. Follow ISO and legal procedures for accurate collection and controlled dissemination of all technical data within product data sheets and marketing collateral.

  6. Support cross-functional communication channels between Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Manufacturing, Technical Service, and other internal departments to create accurate, current, and consistent collateral.

  7. Work with vendors for creative development, web site maintenance, literature orders, printing, translation, and photo/video shoots as necessary.

  8. Foster a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members and research groups within the company as well as communication counterparts across the region and globally.

  9. Keeping up to speed on latest industry trends and technologies.

  10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  1. Associate’s degree required. BA/BS degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, English, Communications or Marketing preferred.

  2. Two (2) - fouf (4) years of Desktop Publishing experience. Experience in Engineering, R&D or commercial printing environments preferred.

  3. Proven track record of executing a variety of marketing/communications activities, including collateral development, content development, maintenance and event planning.

Computers and Technology

  1. Expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud, Mac environment (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator) and be proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
