We are looking for a 2ND SHIFT Machinist II to join our team!
M-Th 4:00pm - 2:30A
Set-up, adjust offsets, and operate common machine shop milling equipment such as 3 axis machining centers and drill presses. Produce production parts to required tolerances, and complete prototype, secondary, rework, and deburring operations.
Follow directions and produce required quantity of parts on the job traveler.
Must set-up and produce parts within required tolerances.
Troubleshoot and correct alarms and non-conforming measurements.
Provide troubleshooting and set-up assistance.
Must follow quality assurance instructions, measure and record inspections, and process non-conformances that are discovered.
Perform secondary operations if time is allowed between machine runs.
Maintain various reports, such as job travelers, inspections, and checklists.
Assist with machine maintenance and repairs.
2-5 years experience with setting up and operating 3 axis CNC machining centers is required.
Past experience with setting up and operating 2 axis turning centers is a plus.
Recognition and understanding of common G+M code style programming.
Ability to use inspection equipment; such as: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and thread gages.
Ability to identify and understand the use of common tooling such as drills, taps, and end-mills.
General blueprint comprehension.
