The Mazak Machinist will be responsible running low volume production on a Mazak Quick Turn Lathe on the night shift. The Mazak Machinist will utilize programming and set-up skills with a Mazak controller to meet production needs.

  • Ensures maximum levels of production through proper operation of Mazak quick turn Lathe.

  • Able to perform basic mazitrol programming in the manufacturing of parts.

  • Performs machining of parts in accordance with drawings, specifications and material requirements..

  • Follows all safety & 5S guidelines; including utilization of proper PPE.

  • Performs Machine set-ups, tool offsets; edits and troubleshoots programs with minimal supervision.

  • Recognizes and resolves tooling wear problems.


Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Intermediate math skills

  • Blueprint reading skills; technical training a plus

  • Programming Experience with Mazitrol.
